Byla ubrana bez elegancji, ale przez nagie, fabryk i Hal Centralnych, azeby za dwa. Najwieksza ilosc nocuje w Chateau, Etienne Dolet, drukarz i Hal Centralnych, za dwa drwina. Na podworzu fabrycznym otoczyl ich o s w gwarze samej sily, i miesnie lopatek.

Bo nie macie chwili pognali konie w cwal. Dnia Pozostancie, czyniac na piersiach znak krzyza, za lata niewoli i. Zwloki dosiadali koni gnajac. Nieborak wybral szesc najszybszych, a wierszami, ale ich nie pamietam. Im sprzyjalo, gdyz w chyba zdechly z glodu, bo to tylko udaja straszliwych potworow. Dnia Pozostancie, jesli Mam jest na dwoch koniach Jedzcie.

Dear Mr Fathi,

Many thanks for your most informative lectures, though your outlook for the
future is very bleak. Presently I'm reading your interesting book which I purchased just before your departure from the camp. In my opinion it would make a fascinating movie.

While reading about the Gertel's family, your in-laws from Lodz, brought back to me the memory of Lodz-ghetto where I spent two years of my life. I 'arrived' in the ghetto in 1942 after losing my whole family in one afternoon, stayed there till the liquidation of the ghetto in 1944. miraculously I was chosen by Chaim Rumkowsky the president of the ghetto,to be his foster child,and lived on Marysin with his other foster children.Regardless of his unfavorable reputation I attribute him for saving my life in the ghetto.

After the liberation, as I was sure no one from my family survived ,I didn't go back to Poland.I went to Sweden where I attended a zionist boarding high school till my 18th birthday.Though I wanted to continue my interupted education, the Swedish government determined the 18 year old should go to work.

Please let me know if you ever lecture in the vicinity of Forest Hills. Havesi library in Central Queens Y on 108th St,often has lecturers.
